ABOUT THE TRIP

Canada by campervan is about freedom of travel, majestic nature and harmony with the world around you: from the silence of national parks to exciting adventures in the wild. Here you can admire crystal clear lakes, conquer mountain peaks, relax by the fire under the starry sky and wake up among incredible landscapes. This is not just a trip - it is a real adventure that changes the idea of travel.

IMPORTANT: the tour program may change depending on weather conditions, the condition of the participants, and other circumstances at the discretion of the tour guide.

OUR itinerary

DAY 1. Arrival in Calgary — Adaptation and getting to know the city

Arrival in Calgary — our Canadian adventure begins (meeting at the airport). A walk along the atmospheric Stephen Avenue with shops and cafes, a breathtaking panoramic view from the Calgary Tower and a delicious brunch at a local restaurant with legendary Alberta beef. We will adapt to the new time zone without rushing and get to know the team.

DAY 2. The beginning of the adventure and legendary Banff

Morning departure, we rent our trailers and head straight to the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Our path leads to one of the oldest national parks in the world - Banff. Today is a day of combining activity and relaxation. Upon arrival, we climb Sulphur Mountain by cable car - from there we have a stunning view of the Bow River Valley and 6 mountain ranges. Then - swimming in the Banff Upper Hot Springs, which have a temperature of ~40°C and a view of the snow-capped peaks. Closer to sunset - canoeing on Lake Vermilion - calm, winding, with pine trees reflected in the water. This is one of the best places to see beavers and moose. In the evening - bonfire, group introduction, first dinner in nature.

Travel time ~130 km / 2 hours

DAY 3. Lake Louise and Moraine: Stunning Colors

Today we visit Lake Louise, an emerald among the mountains. Named after Princess Louise, daughter of Queen Victoria, the lake changes color from blue to jade. We will climb to the Tea House at Lake Agnes for tea overlooking a waterfall that falls straight from the sky.

Then it's off to Moraine Lake, once featured on the $20 bill. Its deep turquoise color seems unreal, and the 10 snow-capped peaks around it seem like something out of a Tolkien tale.

Travel time ~60 km / 1 hour 10 minutes

DAY 4. Icefields Parkway: Canada's most beautiful road

It’s not just a road—it’s a journey through another dimension. The Icefields Parkway is 230 km of incredible scenery: waterfalls, canyons, glaciers, and vast expanses. Stops at Bow Lake, Peyto Lake (shaped like a wolf!), Mistaya Canyon—each point reveals a new facet of the Rocky Mountains.

The culmination is the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest non-polar glaciers on the planet. Here we go on a group tour with a guide on a special Ice Explorer - a giant vehicle that will take us directly to the ice. You can walk on the glacier, touch the permafrost. After - Glacier Skywalk: a walk on a glass platform over a 280-meter abyss with a view of the Sunwapta Gorge. Here the breath is taken away - not from fear, but from grandeur.

Travel time ~230 km / 5 hours with stops

DAY 5. Jasper and the magic of Maligne Lake

After breakfast, we head to the town of Jasper, less crowded, more authentic. Our first stop is the legendary Maligne Lake, a lake of hypnotic blue color. From here, we take a cruise to Spirit Island, a small island in the middle of the water.

After the cruise, we canoe through pine trees and mirror-like water, where it's easy to spot moose crossing the lake. Next, we explore Maligne Canyon, narrow and dramatic, with suspension bridges over raging streams where the water has literally cut through the rock to a depth of over 50 meters.

Travel ~100 km / 1.5 hours

DAY 6. Hot springs + relaxation

This day is for a recharge. We go to Miette Hot Springs — the hottest mineral waters in the Rocky Mountains (temperature up to 54°C at the exit). The surroundings are dense forest and mountain ranges. After — a walk near Lake Edith and Lake Annette, swimming or a quiet picnic. In the evening — search for wildlife (moose, deer, bear), and after — stargazing in the Jasper Dark Sky Preserve — one of the darkest areas on the continent.

DAY 7. Return journey and mountain farewells

We return along the same Icefields Parkway, but new stops mean new emotions. Sunwapta Falls is a roaring waterfall in the middle of the forest. Tangle Creek Falls is a free-falling waterfall from the rocks on the side of the road. And, perhaps, a short hike to Parker Ridge, where the Saskatchewan Glacier is visible in all its icy glory.

In the evening - the final camping in the suburbs of Banfu, the last evening by the fire, conversations, hugs, and warm memories that will remain for a long time.

Travel time ~290 km / 5 hours with stops

DAY 8. Return to Calgary

Return to the city after the fabulous mountains. On the way you can stop in Canmore - a picturesque town with good cafes, art galleries and shops with local products. We return the trailers, check into a hotel in Calgary.

Travel time ~130 km / 2 hours

DAY 9. Flight home

Free day in Calgary for relaxation, shopping. Transfer to the airport and see you on your next travels, friends!
