ABOUT THE TRIP

This trip is for you if you like French romance. We will visit the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey, feel the power of the ocean near the cliffs of Etretat; see with our own eyes how on the days of the highest tide the water appears and approaches in an instant, and the next day in the same place there are long dunes; taste the freshest oysters, and of course, French classics - baguettes, croissants, eclairs.

IMPORTANT: the travel program may change depending on weather conditions, the participants’ condition, and other circumstances at the discretion of the tour guide. If you plan to arrive or depart a day earlier or later, accommodation and transfers are paid additionally.

OUR itinerary

DAY 1. Claude Monet’s Estate and Rouen

We meet at the airport and immediately head into the world of Impressionism: Claude Monet’s estate in Giverny, the very gardens, bridge, and water lilies seen in his paintings. A relaxed lunch in Giverny, and then Rouen: a walk through the old town, the Gothic cathedral, half-timbered houses, and our first real dinner in a French restaurant with wine and the feeling of “we are in France.”

DAY 2. Place of power: Etretat.

Early departure to Étretat — we arrive when the cliffs are still wrapped in morning light and there are no tourist crowds. We start with a walk along panoramic coastal trails above the ocean: arches, chalk cliffs, and views people travel from all over the world to see. Next are the Étretat Gardens: a blend of art, nature, and unexpected installations overlooking the Atlantic. Lunch on the coast with seafood and wine, followed by free time by the ocean for photos and a relaxed walk.

DAY 3. The town of Honfleur, and the contrasting “twin” resorts Deauville and Trouville

Morning in Honfleur — a town that captivates at first sight: the old harbor with its colorful facades, yachts, art galleries, and cozy streets where you just want to wander without a plan. We visit the wooden Church of Saint Catherine and have time for coffee overlooking the harbor. Then we transfer to Trouville — lively, maritime, and very authentic: a fishing port, a famous market, oysters, shrimp, and mussels with a glass of white wine. After lunch, Deauville: elegant boardwalks, iconic beach cabins, stylish cafés, and free time for photos and a French Riviera-style atmosphere, as if in a French film.

DAY 5. Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel and Cancale

Early departure to Mont Saint-Michel to witness sunrise in a place that feels unreal: the abbey slowly emerging from the mist, the ocean retreating, and silence broken only by seagulls. After sunrise, a walk through the medieval streets and a visit to the legendary abbey, offering panoramic views over the bay that lives to the rhythm of the tides. Then we continue to Cancale — the gastronomic capital of the coast: lunch with the freshest oysters and seafood overlooking the sea. After lunch, free time to relax along the coastline.

DAY 5. Saint-Malo and Cap Fréhel

Morning in Saint-Malo — the city of privateers and maritime legends: a walk through the old town behind its fortified walls, ocean panoramas from the bastions, and the atmosphere of authentic coastal France. Then we head to Cap Fréhel — one of the most beautiful natural spots in Brittany: trails along the rocky coastline, a lighthouse, and endless views over the Atlantic.

DAY 6. Paris. Flight home

Moving to Paris. Evening flight and the way home. See you on your next trips, friends!
