ABOUT THE TRIP
Imagine a journey where every day is a new adventure: from wild beaches and the music of Cesária Évora to an overnight stay inside an active volcano and snorkeling with sea turtles. We have created a route that combines vibrant culture, wild landscapes, active trekking, and authentic cuisine — all so you don’t just see Cape Verde, but truly feel it with your heart. Traveling with us is not just a tour, it’s a small expedition in the best company, with deep immersion, a warm atmosphere, and care for every detail.
IMPORTANT: the travel program may change depending on weather conditions, the participants’ condition, and other circumstances at the discretion of the tour guide. If you plan to arrive or depart a day earlier or later, accommodation and transfers are paid additionally.
OUR itinerary
DAY 1.
Morning arrival on São Vicente. We relax on the beach to unwind after the journey. Then we take a walk in Mindelo, the cultural capital of Cape Verde: we visit local markets, experience the city’s atmosphere, and explore the Cesária Évora Museum — a legend whose music speaks straight to the heart. In the evening, we head to Salamansa Beach — a wild coastline with sand dunes that constantly change shape under the wind, creating a living landscape. We end the day with dinner accompanied by live music — local cuisine and rhythms create the true island vibe.
DAY 2.
In the morning, we hike up Monte Verde — the highest point of São Vicente, offering panoramic views of the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Next is surfing on one of the island’s wild beaches. After that, we go snorkeling with loggerhead sea turtles (caretta caretta): an incredible experience of being close to these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. We end the day with a walk along the coastline to the Ponta Nera lighthouse — peace, open space, and the sound of the waves.
DAY 3.
A short ferry ride (40 minutes) brings us to Santo Antão, the greenest island of the archipelago. A light hike through a rocky valley awaits us, passing fruit gardens and leading to the hidden Xoxo waterfall. We refresh ourselves in a mountain pool. We have dinner in a cozy restaurant by the steep cliffs above the ocean — the perfect end to an active day.
DAY 4.
Today we hike through the Cova crater and one of the most scenic valleys on the island. The landscapes change with every step: from volcanic soil to terraces of tropical greenery. After that, we relax in the natural pools in Sinagoga. We spend the evening in the village of Fontainhas — a quiet, isolated place where life moves slowly and the sunsets feel unreal.
DAY 5.
Morning ferry to São Vicente and flight to Fogo — a new stage of the journey. Today we relax in São Filipe, a vibrant town with colonial architecture. We take a walk along the black volcanic beach, have dinner overlooking the ocean, and, optionally, enjoy cocktails and dancing to African rhythms at a local bar.
DAY 6.
We head up to the crater of the active Fogo volcano. On the way, we stop in Mosteiros — a green valley among lava fields where grapes grow and quiet rural life flows. We have lunch with cachupa — an authentic Cape Verdean dish. Then we relax in the crater, surrounded by vineyards and solidified lava. We spend the night here — an incredible feeling of being inside an active volcano, feeling its power and grandeur.
DAY 7.
We ascend to the summit of Fogo — a physical challenge, but also an emotional reset. From the top, we see the entire island, the ocean, clouds, and nearby islands. We return, take a shower, have dinner, and rest. Another night in the crater — under a starry sky that feels closer than anywhere else.
DAY 8.
Flight to Praia — the capital of Cape Verde. Optionally, you can stay an extra day (at additional cost): a beach where cows wander freely, great coffee, and a feeling of complete disconnection from everything. Or we fly home — with the feeling that this was not just a trip, but an adventure you will definitely want to return to.

A place on the trip is reserved with a deposit of €400 (paid to the account of the individual entrepreneur in hryvnias at the exchange rate at the time of payment or in euros if you are abroad) and a photo of your international passport will also be required. After that, we will add you to the group. The remaining part of the amount must be paid no later than 1 month before the start of the trip.
Our groups consist of 4-8 people plus a guide. The average age of participants is 18-35 years. We have no age restrictions, the main thing is that you like walking.
In case of refusal/cancellation of the trip from your side, a 100% refund is possible if a replacement is found for your place at the full price. In all other cases, the cost of the trip is non-refundable.
In case of cancellation of the trip by the organizers, the deposit paid will be refunded in 100%. The refund takes up to 10 business days.
Yes, for citizens of Ukraine, a visa to Cape Verde is mandatory, we handle the processing (the visa is already included in the tour price).
