ABOUT THE TRIP
Socotra is a world unlike any other: dragon trees that look like something out of a science fiction movie, deserted beaches with turquoise water, mountains that disappear into the clouds, and caves with ancient secrets. There are no crowds of tourists, hotel giants, or familiar routes here - just nature in its pristine form, locals with open hearts, and the feeling that you are discovering a new planet. This is not just a trip - it is an adventure that will stay with you forever.
IMPORTANT: the tour program may change depending on weather conditions, the condition of the participants, and other circumstances at the discretion of the tour guide.
OUR itinerary
DAY 1. The capital of Hadibu and the Diksamu plateau
We meet at Abu Dhabi airport and fly to the island by charter flight Abu Dhabi - Hadibu.
We arrive in the middle of the day, we will be met at the airport by a team of local guide-drivers. First we will stop in the capital of the island - the city of Hadibu, to exchange money for local Rials.
We will begin our acquaintance with Socotra from the Dixam Plateau, the birthplace of the legendary Blood Dragon Trees. Here we will meet the sunset among alien landscapes, take unique photos in the golden rays, and in the evening we will have dinner in an open-air camp. The culmination will be a night photo shoot - thousands of stars against the background of bizarre trees.
DAY 2. Natural pool - Wadi Dirhur, Firmihin forest
We will start the day with a magical sunrise in Dixam Canyon, where the iconic Dragon Blood Tree rises above the dawn mist. After breakfast, we will visit the nursery of these unique trees, and then refresh ourselves in the natural pool of Wadi Dirhur. After that, we will move to the mysterious Firmihin Forest - one of the most impressive places on the island. Here we will explore the area and catch the light in the bizarre shapes of the trees. We will end the day with dinner at the camp among the silent giants who guard the night.
DAY 3. Snow-white dunes of Zahek
We will start the morning with sunrise at a viewing platform in the forest, where majestic trees are in the foreground and mountains in the distance. After breakfast at the camp, we will head south to the magical sand dunes of Zahek. There we will rest and completely relax among the golden waves of sand, if desired - a leisurely camel ride. And after sunset we will observe the starry sky and the Milky Way!
DAY 4. Hadibo and Cape Ras Erissel
After a sunrise that brings the desert to life and breakfast at the camp, we return to Hadibo for lunch and fresh produce shopping. Then we head east to Cape Ras Erissel, a place where you can observe crabs in their natural habitat. We end the day at the camp among the Arger dunes, where a cozy dinner awaits us to the sound of the waves and the whisper of the wind.
DAY 5. Arger Sand Dunes and Gomgil Oasis
We will start this day by climbing the sand dunes of Argera, where the first rays of the sun scatter gold - a moment that we want to keep in our memory forever. After breakfast at the camp, we will go to Gomgil - a real oasis in the midst of wild nature. Here we will swim in a natural pool: green slopes, rocks and the endless Arabian Sea. We will end the day with dinner at the camp, immersed in the silence and magic of Gomgil.
DAY 6. Di Hamra, snorkeling and Detva Lagoon
We will start the morning in Gomgil with sunrise among the fabulous bottle trees, which seem to come to life in the first rays of the sun. After breakfast at the camp, we will head to Di Hamri - one of the best places for snorkeling on Socotra. Here, among the crystal clear water, the underwater world of coral reefs and marine life opens up. After lunch on the shore, we will be transferred to the western part of the island - to the Detwa Lagoon. There, at a picturesque observation deck, we will meet the sunset. We will end the day with dinner at the camp by the lagoon - in complete harmony with nature.
DAY 7. Boat trip and fishing village of Kalancia
We will start the day by climbing to the top, where a bottle tree rises above the lagoon with an incredible panorama. After breakfast at the camp, we will head to Shoab Beach, but first - an exciting boat trip to a remote corner of the island: turquoise water, rocks, and, if you are lucky, dolphins playfully accompanying the boat. After lunch on the beach, we will explore the authentic fishing village of Kalancia, where life flows as it did hundreds of years ago. We will end the day with dinner at the camp.
DAY 8. Returning home
We will spend our last morning in Socotra having breakfast together at the camp, reminiscing about the highlights of this magical journey. After that, we will head to the airport, full of new stories and rested!

A place on the trip is reserved with a deposit of €400 (paid to the account of the individual entrepreneur in hryvnias at the exchange rate at the time of payment or in euros if you are abroad) and a photo of your international passport will also be required. After that, we will add you to the group. The remaining part of the amount must be paid no later than 1 month before the start of the trip.
Our groups consist of 4-8 people plus a guide. The average age of participants is 18-35 years. We have no age restrictions, the main thing is that you like walking.
Food on Socotra is simple and delicious local dishes. The menu will include a lot of seafood, as well as chicken, rice, vegetables and fruits. A local chef will prepare the food for us.
We will stay in a hotel in Hadibo, and in tents along the route. The host will provide tents, but you can bring your own if you wish. A comfortable camping area with tables, chairs, and other amenities will be set up at the overnight stops.
There will be almost no communication and internet throughout the tour. This is a great opportunity to take a break from your phones, disconnect from everyday life, and fully immerse yourself in exploring Socotra.
In case of refusal/cancellation of the trip from your side, a 100% refund is possible if a replacement is found for your place at the full price. In all other cases, the cost of the trip is non-refundable.
In case of cancellation of the trip by the organizers, the deposit paid will be refunded in 100%. The refund takes up to 10 business days.
We have an age restriction of 18+ for the comfort of all participants.
